On 15 th of December, 2012 in Varna completed tournament chess about the Cup of AGBU. The tireless founder of this small chess country in the heart of Varna – the prominent Levon Ovanezov, the international arbitrator of FIDE represents the guests from Plovdiv from the editorial board from newspaper “AGBU VOICE” – Hripsime Erniasian and Elena Tamamdjieva.
Hripsime Erniasian gave in the winners Diplomas and money prizes on behalf of the benevolent union. They were designed for 12-th participants from 1-st and 6-th place in blitz and rapid chess, provided by AGBU Plovdiv Chapter. The bowl of AGBU for rapid chess was given in Hristo Ivelinov, but the bowl of ÄGBU for blitz chess to Konstantin Georgiev-Nike.
Levon Ovanezov turned 90 in the year of 2013. AGBU Plovdiv Chapter on behalf of the chairman Rupen Chavushian awarded Levon Ovanezov with a certificate for a honorary member of ÄGBU Plovdiv chapter for his dedicated work for promoting AGBU and newspaper “AGBU VOICE”.
