Exciting meeting in Ruse

“Erebuni” and “Araks “on stage!

On 8th of June 2013, a concert of Vocal Instrumental Band “Erebuni” took place in Rousse. Invited by AGBU Ruse, the prepared for months concert was an inspiring and very happy day for both Plovdiv and Ruse. Despite the strong rain that fell prior to the concert the hall of the Military Club was full of emotionally charged audience. Applause erupted before the end of the songs and soloists Simon Pachadzhyan, Taki Melkonian, Virginia Vicheva Shishmanyan and Harry gave the audience fervor and excitement with all their talent of artists and singers.

Surprised by the enormous preparation of the hosts, the personal commitment of President Dr. Bohos Garzharyan, beautiful posters, carefulness and attention from all Armenians, “Erebuni” felt among true friends!

We were deeply touched by the speech of archimandrite Abgar Ovakimyan, vicar of Armenian Apostolic Holy Church, who attended for the first time a concert by „Erebuni” and witnessed the premiere of the new formation “Araks” Rousse.
Big thanks to AGBU Ruse, the Chairman of the Church board of “Surp Astvadzadzin” Erwin Chakaryan, the host Wieliczka Boghossian and to all who were inseparably devoted to this exciting day for the unforgettable hours they dedicated to us. To share this joyous day and the first show of the band “Araks” in Ruse was the President of the AGBU Plovdiv Chapter Rupen Chavushyan.
“Be eternal as the Araks river! To new creative successes! Be like family! And “play sometimes false, that is also difficult,” were some of the wishes that all members of the “Erebuni” band wrote on the back of Virgin Mary icon that they gave to their colleagues from Ruse.
To group “Araks” we wish a successful and creative year and let the new record of the group is marked by many successes at all stages in Bulgaria and abroad. However, what we have seen –in the first performance of the band at the Armenian Club after our concert, gives hope for much more!
