Haskovo, Bulgaria — October 4, 2025. The Armenian community of Haskovo marked a momentous occasion — the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the establishment of the Armenian School in the city.
To honor this historic milestone, АGBU Plovdiv “YAN” Dance Ensemble, accompanied by chair committee members of the organization and parents, traveled to Haskovo to take part in the jubilee celebrations. Through the grace and vitality of Armenian dance, the young performers conveyed their deep reverence for heritage and their promise to preserve the spirit and values of their ancestors.
The commemorative event was graced by the presence of His Grace Bishop Tatev Hakobyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Romania and Pontifical Delegate of the Armenian Diocese in Bulgaria; Very Reverend Father Hrach Muradyan, Vicar of the Armenian Diocese in Bulgaria; and Reverend Father Daniel Karadjian, spiritual pastor of the Armenian Church “Surp Kevork” in Plovdiv.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Grace Bishop Tatev Hakobyan offered his heartfelt blessing to all those gathered and to the citizens of Haskovo, extending his prayers for the continued flourishing of faith and community spirit among Armenians in Bulgaria.
