Shared moments, cinema and common goals
The exciting moments of Sunday morning on February 15 this year continued at lunch. The “Mayrigus” restaurant opened its doors especially for us and our friends from Haskovo. We were welcomed with a buffet and cake – a compliment from Raffi and Kristina Kalenderyan.
Small, large and older, we gathered for a festive lunch, which we quickly turned into a working meeting. We discussed the opportunities for young people and their participation in the organization’s programs and projects both here and abroad, with a focus on Armenia. We discussed the upcoming Charity Ball in Plovdiv, dedicated to 120 years of AGBU.
After the delicious lunch, we all headed to the “Lucky” cinema for the screening of the film “Winter Song”. The Armenian film brought together the interest of Armenians and fellow citizens from and outside Plovdiv, thereby confirming that true stories touch the heart of everyone, regardless of their origin or cultural affiliation. Both screenings were a great success with packed theaters.
