AGBU Plovdiv Holds Its Reporting and Election Assembly

On March 29 this year, AGBU Plovdiv held its reporting and election assembly — a meeting marked by reflection and a clear vision for the future.

At the very beginning, our spiritual shepherd Father Daniel blessed the gathering of AGBU Plovdiv and offered a prayer for the success of the new leadership. He wished them confidence as they continue on the path of uniting the community and preserving the Armenian spirit.

The leadership presented a detailed overview of its mandate (September 2024 – December 2025), highlighting the cultural impact and strategic development of the organization.

A key focus of the report was the strong connection between preserving traditions and implementing modern youth policies. Special attention was given to the YAN Dance Ensemble, whose international appearances and artistic evolution continue to affirm Plovdiv’s place on the Armenian cultural map in Bulgaria.

In the spirit of organizational development, the assembly voted on changes to its composition. We are pleased to welcome the new members Elena Tyutyundzhiyan and Edit Zakeosyan, whose experience will be a valuable asset to our future projects. Due to personal and professional commitments, Erna Dadikozian and Vartanush Krikoryan stepped down from the leadership team. AGBU Plovdiv expresses its gratitude for their dedicated service and shared responsibility throughout the years.

Given the extended absence of Nora Radoslavova due to her participation in the iGorts Program in Armenia, Toni Garabedyan was elected as co-chair.
