AGBU Youth and Homenetmen Scouts Join Forces Once Again
Goodwill is inherited. Participation is voluntary. The role of the young matters.
The Armenian Cultural Center in Plovdiv will welcome its visitors with a refreshed and more inviting look, thanks to the joint efforts of the AGBU Plovdiv youth and the Homenetmen scouts. With equal contribution and volunteer work, the young people demonstrated that caring for the community’s home is their priority.

The main focus of the renovation was the replacement of the hall curtains, made possible with the invaluable support of Haig Donikyan, a well-known benefactor of the Plovdiv Armenian community. The choice of light tones transformed the atmosphere, visually expanded the space, and created a sense of openness.
The sewing work was carried out by Sonya Dzhamagochiyan, an active parent who consistently contributes to community initiatives. The installation — far from an easy task — was once again completed by our youth.
With shared resources, new functional coat racks were designed and installed in the entrance hall — a long-awaited necessity. Young volunteers Filip and Kevork Zobuyan and Daniel Tomasyan took on the task and brought it to completion.

This renovation is much more than an interior update. With the united energy of the Plovdiv leadership of AGBU and Homenetmen, together with the synergy of community support, we can look forward to continued progress in the public life of the Armenian community in Plovdiv
